Monday, 12 June 2017 12:00 until
Tuesday, 13 June 2017 12:30
Venue: Nordic Embassies in Berlin

This event will be a side event to prepare and support the seminar during EUSBSR Forum - arranged by BSSSC, UBC and ERB jointly. The conference will gather around 30 youth participants + civil servants working with youth from all the ten countries around the Baltic Sea. The framework of the youth conference is:

  • for all countries to share good practises on youth involvement and empowerment
  • to discuss these practises among the youth participants and
  • to try to find/identify models and tools that can be tested out and implemented at local, regional and macro-regional level all over the BSR.

The youth conference will identify success criteria and factors as well as models for dialog and processes - to move forward with regard to real inclusion of youth in shape of the future Baltic Sea Region. Input from an expert from University level will be one part of the conference programme. The output will be a booklet of best practises to be distributed and shared. A video will be produced during the event by polish youth representatives (ERB).
