How literate are we in the Baltic Sea Region on a well-known issue such as eutrophication?

Wednesday, 14 June 2017 15:00 – 18:30
Thursday, 15 June 2017 9:00 – 14:00
Venue: German Federal Ministry of the Environment, Krausenstrasse 17-18, Berlin

A creative workshop on Ocean Literacy in the frame of the H2020 project “ResponSEAble”.
Motto: In the Baltic Sea Region we are advanced in research, in policy shaping, in communication with stakeholders – but we still find eutrophication as the biggest issue for the Baltic Sea. How comes? The knowledge is out there. It has been communicated since decades. Did we talk all those years to the right stakeholders? Did we communicate the right messages? Who are the actors in the value chain? Is there an opportunity for a change at some of them? At whom?
