The Baltic Sea Region needs a definition and a concept of the Maritime Green Corridors
The topic of Maritime Green Corridors gets lots of publicity nowadays as it is promoted on different levels all around the world by politicians, governmental institutions and environmentalists. Nonetheless, establishing and implementing Green Corridors is still much more complex than it may seem- we need technology, resources and time. However, before we start to find solutions to these challenges, it is essential to create an accurate definition of this concept.

Should I travel within the Baltic Sea Region this year?
At this time of year, I start dreaming of summer holidays and looking for the perfect destination to travel to next summer. My spouse's dreams include a salmon rowing trip in northern Finland, whereas my dreams include a few days at a lake cottage in Kuusamo, where I spent my childhood holidays.

Baltic Sea Underground Innovation Network (BSUIN) – Empowering Underground Laboratories Network Usage (EUL)
There are several widely known science organisations and industrial companies specialised in geophysics, geology, and underground construction in the Baltic Sea region, yet numerous underground laboratories in the region are not utilised to their full potential. Therefore, the Interreg Baltic Sea Region co-funded project Empowering Underground Laboratories Network Usage (EUL) was created as a tool to get more attention to the topic, and to continue the work done during the Baltic Sea Underground Innovation Network (BSUIN).
