The Swedish ESF Council, will the coming years strengthen the transnational cooperation between projects funded by the ESF in the Member States. The intention is also to analyze the relation and linkage between the ESF and the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).

A network of the Managing Authorities for the ESF between the Member States concerned  – Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Germany -  has been consolidated and a number of joint activities will be carried out: conferences, partner search forums and learning seminars in Sweden as well as in the other Member States.

There is also a new web available focusing on transnational issues in ESF.

The project BSN – ESF is coordinated by the Swedish ESF Council and funded by the Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Unit (a Swedish central government agency).
