Sweden and Finland have published their calls for transnational project proposals in the 2016 EUropean Social Fund co-ordinated call. Each covers four themes.

The Swedish ESF Council is launching this call in order to promote project cooperation and mutual learning among the member states of the European Union. The aim is to apply or develop methods in a transnational context together with at least one partner from another member state (preferably at least two), within the following themes:

The deadline for the call in Sweden is 30 September 2016.

The four themes for this first call for transnational proposals funder by ESF in Finland are:

Specific priority will be given to projects addressing the EU strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) and projects demonstrating social innovation. The deadline for submission in Finland is 3 October 2016.
