In Interreg Programmes new transnational projects have been granted with funding. Most of the projects strongly support the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). 

 In the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme 39 new project were accepted. EUR 91.7 million of the funds were allocated to these second call projects. 15 of the accepted projects have the EUSBSR Flagship status demonstrating particulary well the implementation of the Strategy objectives. Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme also supports development of new projects implementing the EUSBSR by Seed Money. 25 new Seed Money Projects have been grated with small funding to support the preparation of larger scale projects in the Baltic Sea Region. The Seed Money Projects represent important topics from almost all Policy Areas and Horizontal Actions of the EUSBSR. Interreg South Baltic Programme has also accepted 12 new projects to be implemented. EUR 17.27 million were allocated to these projects. Most of the approved projects are in line with the objectives of the EUSBSR. More information on the projects on South Baltic Programme website.
