
Policy Area (PA) ‘Innovation’ aims at promoting global competitiveness and growth of the Baltic Sea region through support for entrepreneurship, business development, science and increased innovation capacity.
The goals can be achieved by exploiting the full potential of the BAltic Sea region in the fields of research and innovation, as well as in the case of medium sized enterprises (SMEs), and by attracting talents and investments utilising the Digital Single Market as a source.
PA Innovation actions contribute to building an ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in the Baltic Sea region based on smart specialisation and sustainable growth.
PA Innovation is coordinated by Poland, Estonia and Nordic Council of Ministers.
