New EUSBSR Flagships approved!

In November the National Coordinators of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region supported five new Flagships! In the EUSBSR blog the Flagships now tell what the Flagship status means to them and how exactly they contribute to the EUSBSR implementation.

Business involvement in EUSBSR needed to make a lasting difference

In Gdansk on 8th November business involvement in the EUSBSR was discussed in a seminar organised by the "Let's communicate!" project. It was jointly agreed that private sector is needed in the Strategy implementation in order to make a lasting difference. It also makes good business sense for a private sector organisation to be involved in an EUSBSR Flagship, for example.

Briefly

The 9th Annual Forum will be organised in Tallinn on 4-5 June 2018. A call for seminars will be open during 3-31 January. More information will follow at the Annual Forum website

Swedish Institute has launched a call for seed funding with which Baltic Sea region cooperation can be funded as long as the main applicant is from Sweden.

A comprehensive study about the four EU macro-regional strategies and their links to EU Cohesion Policy has been published. Read it here.
