On 16–17 June 2020 City of Turku will be hosting The EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) 11th Annual Forum ”Our Region, Our Future – Towards a Decade of Innovation and  Sustainability". The Forum is held second time in Turku, Logomo, Finland's most prominent event
and creative business center.

Around 800 policymakers and political and economic experts are expected to join us in Turku. This is a key opportunity to gain work experience of a high-level international event, obtain contacts and explore the Networking Village.

In order to ensure smooth running of the event, volunteers are needed for various tasks:

  • Room assistant
Assisting speakers and moderators during the workshops, guiding audience, session attend-
    ance tracking etc.
  • Registration Desk Assistant
Welcoming participants, assisting in registration and providing general information
  • Networking Village Assistant
Providing assistance to exhibitors in setting up and running the Networking Village
  • General Assistant
Helping with all running tasks during the event such as preparing decorations, delivering mes-
sages and guiding participants from the hotel to the venue

Finnish language skills are not compulsory, fluent English is enough. We look for volunteers who are team players, have strong communication skills, knowledge and interest towards topics of the Annual Forum. Volunteers receive lunch when on shift, staff shirt, Certificate of Participation and entry to the evening reception on 16 June.
