Policy Area (PA) ‘Transport’ aims at improving internal and external transport links, which are prerequisites for the competitive region. Improvements can be achieved by facilitating a sustainable and efficient transport system in the Baltic Sea Region.
PA Transport actions include capitalising European-level (TEN-T core network corridors) and other transnational corridors for better connectivity, accessibility and cohesion. PA Transport also focuses on Improvements in transport cooperation with the third countries and macro-regional transfer of sustainable solutions in passenger and freight transport.
PA Transport is coordinated by Lithuania and Estonia.
